“I like to bring a laugh to my work, it’s just in my character. Ultimately, I know it’s not something I’ve done before but it’s very much the way I am, just that little bit mischievous.
“The offer to protect the new Golden Collection got thrown my way and I immediately thought it would be great fun, also couldn’t turn down the chance to try out some of the treats.”
On what he enjoyed most about creating the spoof film, he added: “The bit I enjoyed the most was taking on a different role, I always go around and try to be true to myself, so this was just an extension of that but allowing me to take on a new character for in a comedic way and I really got into it.
“If it was right I would certainly do something like this again, as long as it’s still fun to do. The outfit was great, I loved wearing the gold aviators.”
The SAS Who Dares Wins experts are known for their tough exterior but this project gave him a chance to showcase another side.
