Catherine Zeta Jones' London tube trip video brutally mocked by comedian Joe Lycett

Catherine Zeta-Jones, 53, shocked many last month when she took to Instagram to share a bizarre video of herself sitting on the London Underground, after attending the BAFTAs.

Comedian Joe Lycett, 34, has now hilariously mocked the Hollywood actress, as he recreated her empty train clip.

In view of her 5.2 million followers, Catherine was seen filming discreetly while travelling solo on the tube.

She sported a tweed coat, a matching hat and oversized sunglasses, seemingly in an attempt to conceal her identity. However, this didn’t matter as the Hollywood star managed to escape the crowds and documented her empty carriage online.

She said down the camera: “When you’re the only one on the Tube and you’re very happy. London, just me, on public transport.”

Joe then posted his own version with a towel clipped onto his head to imitate Catherine’s long brown tresses.

He sang: “It’s Christmas time and I’ve got my cushion with Nicolas Cage on. Oh yeah, oh yeah. Statue of Theresa May and keyboard. Oh yeah, I’m ready. Bring it on Santa.”

Joe has been one for public stunts, most recently appearing to shred £10,000 in protest against David Beckham’s partnership with the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

He later revealed that he hadn’t actually shredded the money and had instead donated it to LGBT+ charities.
