Phillip Billing scores second fastest goal in Premier League history with the Cherries midfielder netting after nine seconds against Arsenal
Bournemouth’s Phillip Billing has scored the second fastest goal in Premier League history after opening the scoring against Arsenal after just nine seconds, 11 milliseconds.
Billing gave the Cherries a shock lead over Premier League leaders Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Dutch midfielder’s effort has been officially record as the Premier League’s second fastest goal.
His effort still falls short of Shane Long’s record goal, having netted for Southampton against Watford in 7.69 seconds back in 2019.
