Countless of tattooed Americans have been inked with designs on a whim – but these photos are proof that some might live to regret them. 

From getting best friend tattoos of two corner puzzle pieces that could never fit together to a questionable dolphin – there are plenty of permanent mistakes. 

One young woman, who ‘courageously’ took a stance against COVID-19 mask mandates, tattooed that she ‘radically refuse[s] to wear a mask.’ With mask mandates long gone, the woman might just be regretting her radical tattoo. 

Others daringly let their friends tattoo them, only to find out their friend’s should have consulted spellcheck prior to sticking a needle in their skin.
