Abigail Breslin and Ira Kunyansky make their red carpet debut as husband and wife

Just over a week after they tied the knot, actress Abigail Breslin and husband Ira Kunyansky made their red carpet debut as husband and wife.

The 26-year-old actress and her 31-year-old husband were all smiles while posing arm-in-arm on the red carpet at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

The newlyweds were in town for the world premiere of Breslin’s new film entitled Miranda’s Victim, held at The Arlington Theatre.

Breslin stepped out with a black sleeveless minidress that fell just above her knees for the premiere event.

She also wore a small gold necklace and pendant that dangled around her neck as her blonde locks flowed down over her shoulders.

She completed her look for the event with a pair of emerald green strappy heels as she stepped out for her new film.

Breslin’s husband Kunyansky – who she’s been dating since 2017 – opted for a classic black tuxedo for the formal event.

He was all smiles in a white dress shirt, black bowtie, black coat, black pants and shiny black dress shoes.

Breslin revealed that Kunyansky popped the question in February 2022, sharing a photo of her engagement ring to her 543K followers.

‘I was like, “duh.” #engagedyall’ she said in the caption of her post, which amassed over 27K likes.

They tied the knot on January 28, with Breslin revealing on Instagram she wore a dress from Simin Couture.

Her new film Miranda’s Victim is based on the 1963 kidnapping and rape of Patricia Weir (Breslin) by Ernesto Miranda (Sebastian Quinn).

Miranda was arrested and he confessed to the kidnapping and rape, and was convicted, though his original conviction was overturned, which resulted in what’s now known as the ‘Miranda rights’ that police officers must now read to all criminals that are apprehended.
