Tommy Fury predicts he will KO Jake Paul in the early rounds of their upcoming fight

‘I hope you’ve got an ambulance on speed dial’: Tommy Fury predicts he’ll KO Jake Paul in the early rounds of their upcoming grudge-match and warns he’s going to ‘hurt him seriously’

  • Paul and Fury are finally set to face each other in Saudi Arabia later this month
  • Ahead of the pair meeting, Fury issued an ominous threat to the ‘Problem Child’
  • Fury, 23, also said that Paul, 26, was ‘not on his level’ as a legitimate fighter

Tommy Fury has predicted he will knock Jake Paul out and ‘put him away early’ in their upcoming fight as he warned the YouTuber that he is going to ‘seriously hurt’ him.

Paul, 26, and Fury, 23, are finally set to face each other in the ring in a much-anticipated fight in Saudi Arabia later this month.

The bitter rivals have twice seen scheduled bouts fall through but are now finally set to go head-to-head after the two camps signed off on the grudge match.

Ahead of the pair meeting in Riyadh on February 26, Fury issued an ominous threat to the ‘Problem Child’, even claiming he will hospitalise the American.

‘My message to Jake Paul is good luck and I hope you’ve trained and I hope you got an ambulance on speed dial because you’re gonna need it,’ he told TMZ Sports.

Fury continued: ‘In three weeks, I get my chance. I don’t wanna take it both hands, I wanna school this man. I’m gonna take him to the trenches and he will be drowned. There’s no way he can last eight rounds in the ring with me.’

‘I see me putting him away early, the way I’m punching in the gym, what I’m doing to people in the gym. There’s no way. When the shots land, he will be going down. He will not get up,’ he added.

Fury also said that Paul was ‘not on his level’ as a legitimate fighter and felt his name was being ‘dragged through the mud’ by being associated with his opponent.

They have already had to be separated during their face-off to promote their upcoming fight.

It comes after Paul used the birth of his long-term rival Fury’s baby to taunt his upcoming opponent.

The former Love Island star and Molly-Mae Hague announced the news in an Instagram post last Monday, as they shared a sweet black and white snap with their newborn.

The news didn’t come as a shock to most because Jake had already taken it upon himself to leak the news, but he also added fuel to the fire by leaving a comment on her latest post.

His reply said: ‘Just in time to watch your dad get knocked out.’

The initial date of February 25 was reportedly changed to February 26 to avoid a clash with Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition bout against Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers.

Paul will be looking to maintain his unbeaten record up against a professional boxer for the very first time, having previously taken on ex-UFC fighters, a former NBA player and one of his fellow YouTubers.

His most recent win came against Anderson Silva in October of last year, when he toppled the MMA legend via unanimous decision.

Fury, meanwhile, outpointed Daniel Bocianski when he last laced up the gloves in April last year.
