A video of Tom Brady waving goodbye to the crowd for the final time as Tampa Bay Buccaneers suffered an NFL play-off defeat to Dallas Cowboys has been shared on social media.
The legendary quarter-back announced his retirement from the sport after a trophy-laden 23-year career for the second-time with an emotional video.
Those with an eager eye would have expected the news, as the seven-time Super Bowl winner was captured kissing his parents and waving to the crowd, as he walked off the pitch post-game.

Brady ran off the field for one final time just weeks ago – following a loss to the Dallas Cowboys
His final fixture being a 31-14 defeat in an NFC wild-card playoff game to the Cowboys in mid-January.
The 45-year-old wandered off the pitch waving before kissing his parents then heading down the tunnel – with no one officially knowing if it would be the end or not of his impressive career.
In fact it was, as he confirmed that he is retiring from the NFL ‘for good’ in an emotional 52-second video posted on social media this time round.
‘I’m retiring – for good,’ he said in an emotional video posted on social media. ‘I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first.

‘It won’t be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year.
‘Thank you so much to every single one of you for supporting me – my family, my friends, my team-mates, my competitors. I could go on forever – there’s too many.
‘Thank you for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all.’
This announcement also comes one year to the day that Brady first announced his retirement, a decision he would reverse just weeks later.
Brady has been named MVP of the league three times and the MVP of the Super Bowl five times – the most of any player.
The most notable among his accolades would be seven Super Bowl titles – six of which came in New England. Those seven titles are the most of any player in league history.
Across 20 seasons in New England, Brady took the Patriots to the AFC Championship game thirteen times and the Super Bowl nine times.
