Another day, more Good Morning America drama. Former hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have been the talk of the town ever since they were taken off-air from their lunchtime program GMA3: What You Need To Know following their scandalous affair. Now, it’s been over seven weeks since they’ve last hosted and viewers are still anticipating their return.
Earlier this week, The Sun reported that Robach didn’t expect her affair “to blow into a scandal.” The insider also claimed that the co-host was blindsided by Holmes’ “past office romances,” which includes affairs with ABC producer Natasha Singh and ABC script coordinator Jasmine Pettaway.
Does that mean there’s trouble in paradise for the new couple? Following these claims, Robach was caught fleeing New York City solo.
Reports have also alleged that Holmes and Robach are pursuing legal action against ABC for wrongful termination after being told that they’ve been booted for good. Meanwhile, workers at ABC have stated that “morale” is at an “all-time low” at the network due to the handling of the situation by an insider, per Page Six.
ABC has remained silent about their internal investigation, even amid rumors that Robach and Holmes have been booted for good. Since then, the show has been rotating through replacement hosts to occupy the news desk with regular host, Dr. Jennifer Ashton. Thus far, DeMarco Morgan, Rhiannon Ally, Stephanie Ramos, Gio Benitez, Janai Normal, and Dr. Darien Sutton have appeared on the talk show, with Morgan and Ally seeming to be the network’s favorite.
