Dolly also confirmed she sang with Elton John on one of his songs for her 49th studio album – which will definitely feature Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox, Joan Jett, Steve Perry, Steven Tyler, and John Fogerty.

There’s no question that Parton’s famous goddaughter Miley Cyrus will take part in Rock Star: ‘We’re definitely going to have her on.’

However, the Tennessee native told the 54-year-old foodie that she still hasn’t secured Cher, but ‘hopefully’ that duet will happen soon.

Dolly previously revealed on The View that she, Pink, and Brandi Carlile performed a cover of the Rolling Stones’ 1965 hit (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.

Parton’s album will also feature Led Zeppelin’s 1971 song Stairway to Heaven, and she already debuted her new track Rockin’ at the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in LA on November 5.

‘I wrote a little special song for that to, kind of, sum up my feelings about how I wasn’t sure I was a rock star, but you know me well enough to know I’m not going to let an opportunity go by,’ the 10-time Grammy winner – who’s sold over 100M records – told Rachael.

‘I thought if I’m ever going to do a rock & roll album which I often dreamed someday I might, that the time is now. So, I reached out to a lot of the friends who were on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with me when we were there those few days rehearsing.’
