Ja Morant produced a remarkable dunk-of-the-year contender that left his teammates stunned Saturday night, as the Grizzlies eased past the Pacers 130-112.
Morant has been in sizzling form in recent weeks, helping Memphis to a nine-game winning streak, the current longest in the NBA.
Against the Pacers on Saturday, he had 23 points and 10 assists, but all the headlines will go to a remarkable moment in the third quarter in which he slam-dunked over Jalen Smith to take his team 20 points ahead.

Coming from right-court, he races towards the bucket and jumps impossibly high over his opponent, dunking the ball with one hand as his teammates watch on.
The amazing moment, which ESPN labelled ‘the dunk of the century’, left the crowd in raptures and Morant’s teammates celebrated wildly from the bench.
The Grizzles now have a 29-13 record, tied with Denver for the best in the division, as they continue their fine form with Morant leading the way.
Desmond Bane was Memphis’ top scorer on Saturday though, scoring two more than Morant to record 25 in Indianapolis.

Neither Bane nor Morant were needed in the fourth quarter, though, with Memphis leading by as much as 34 in the fourth.
The game was tied in the second quarter before Memphis outscored the Pacers 27-11 to take a 68-52 lead at halftime. Morant had five points and four assists during that span.
Santi Aldama added 17 points and Ziaire Williams 13 for the Grizzlies.
Reserve guard Chris Duarte scored 25 points for the Pacers. Rookie Bennedict Mathurin had 16 and T.J. McConnell 13.
