Dorothy Tristan dead: Klute and Scarecrow actress dies aged 88 after long health battle

Her other performances include Frank Perry’s Man on a Swing in 1974 and A Place Without Parents from the same year.

The late actress also starred in 1976’s Swashbuckler, 1977’s Rollercoaster and 1986 film Down and Out in Beverly Hills.

She also worked behind the scenes with her husband on a number of his films, including 1989’s Prancer, 2000’s A Piece of Eden, 2001’s Suspended Animation and 2020’s Girls of Summer.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, John; her two children, Alex Avakian and Tristan Avakian; her three grandchildren, Sebastian, Chloe and Aram; and her great-grandson, Elijah.
