Emily Ratajkowski SLAMS Ellen DeGeneres and Taylor Swift interview: 'This is so f*cked up'

Emily Ratajkowski called Ellen DeGeneres out for an interview segment with Taylor Swift that aired back in 2012.

During the talk-show appearance, Ellen played a game where she flashed pictures of famous men on the screen and asked if Taylor had dated them – despite the pop star pleading that she wanted to keep ‘the one shred of dignity that I have.’

Responding to the old clip on TikTok, Emily, 21, wrote in disgust: ‘This is so f***ed up. She’s literally begging her to stop.’

The old interview has made the rounds on social media over the last couple years leading up to Emily’s denunciation. 

During the segment, Ellen explains that the pair are going to play a game. For the game, she tells the superstar, who turned 23 the year of the interview, that she’d show Swift a slideshow of men she’d reportedly dated and Swift would ring a bell for each man she actually dated. 

‘I don’t know if I’m going to do this,’ Swift said. ‘This is the one thing that I have. It’s like the one shred of dignity that I have.’ 

Ellen continued pushing, however, and the game commenced with Swift repeatedly saying she didn’t want to play and looking visibly uncomfortable during the segment. 

The Anti-Hero singer talked about being reduced to the men she’s dated in an interview with Apple Beats’ Zane Lowe years later. 

‘When I was, like, 23 people were just kind of reducing me to — kind of making slideshows of my dating life and putting people in there that I’d sat next to at a party once and deciding that my songwriting was like a trick rather than a skill and a craft,’ she said.

A TikTok user made a side-by-side clip with the Ellen clip and the Zane Lowe interview which caught Ratajkoswki’s attention. 

‘This is so f*cked up,’ she wrote in the comments. ‘She’s literally begging her to stop.’ 

Ellen had a number of uncomfortable interviews on her show over the years with different stars including Dakota Johnson.

During one clip, Ellen ribbed Dakota for not inviting her to the 50 Shades of Gray star’s birthday party before Dakota revealed she did invite her and was blown off. 

She once asked comedian Hasan Minhaj if she was pronouncing his name correctly, he told her she wasn’t. After he said that, she nearly began arguing with him about it. 

The Ellen Show ended its run last year after 19 seasons amid a flurry of toxic workplace allegations. 

DeGeneres maintained that the show didn’t end because of the allegations though she later called the allegations ‘coordinated.’ 

‘I felt like somebody had some kind of, you know? I mean, I really didn’t understand it, I still don’t understand it,’ DeGeneres said on TODAY. ‘Yeah, I thought I thought something was going on that that, because it was too orchestrated, it was too coordinated.’
