27-year-old Ireland – daughter of Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin – revealed the sonogram image of her child on New Year’s Eve in a post she simply captioned, ‘Happy New Year’ with a red heart emoji.
Her 69-year-old mother took to Instagram to share an image of Ireland’s sonogram photo from 27 years ago, with a unique message, before revealing Ireland is expecting a girl.

The sonogram image – dated April 6, 1995 – was featured in the post along with a handwritten note that Basinger deciphered in the caption.
‘I know it’s hard to read… But in April of 1995, this was a note I wrote on one of my first sonograms of baby Ireland,’ Kim began.
‘It said “4 white paws and a tail. Like I said to Dr. Liu (my OB), It’s a puppy!”’ she added.

‘This weekend, 27 years later, I looked at @irelandirelandireland’s newest sonogram and could have sworn she was having a Beagle!’ Kim joked.
‘Like mother, like daughter…. and a new baby girl coming our way. So looking forward to meeting this little Snoopy in June…’ Kim concluded.
Her daughter responded to the post with, ‘Awwwwwww!!!!!!’ while the baby’s father RAC (real name Andre Allen Anjos), added, ‘I can’t wait to meet her too.’

The post comes just a day after Ireland shared a brief video with her 681K Instagram followers where she ‘laid down the law’ regarding her pregnancy.
‘This will not be a mom blog or pregnancy account by any means. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it won’t be that, for me,’ she said, adding, ‘every now and then I will vent and say what I have to to vent and have some comedic relief in this process.’
She added, ‘I know some people in my life are very excited for me and I’m very appreciative of that… but if one more person asks me to send a picture of my bump to them, I’m going to lose my mind. Because I don’t have one.’

‘My child is so deeply nestled in there, and I’m tall, and there’s just a lot of room for her in there,’ Baldwin said, joking, ‘I look like I ate about 12 sub sandwiches, but other than that, you’d never know.’
‘This one is pretty common – when and if I do start to show, I don’t care if you are my best friend, I don’t care if we’re family, I don’t care who you are, I don’t discriminate, I don’t care if you’re elderly, do not touch me unless you ask,’ she said, adding, ‘You would be shocked at how many people don’t ask.’
She added that there is only one thing she’s currently interested in eating – Jersey Mike’s subs and grapefruits.

‘If it’s not Jersey Mike’s, if it’s not grapefruit, or grapefruit flavored, I’m not interested in it,’ she said.
‘So, with that being said, if you happen to be a bystander or a employee of a Jersey Mikes that I happen to come into when I’m very obviously pregnant, and you give me a dirty look or judge me in any way or give me any kind of unsolicited advice about cold cuts and turkey and listeria and all that while you’re pregnant, I will fight you while I’m pregnant at a Jersey Mike’s, and that’s not a good look for me.
‘I don’t need that right now. But I will. Because I will die if I don’t have my turkey provolone, Mike’s way, extra, extra dressing.’
