Fans have scorned Everton after a diabolical performance in a 4-1 home defeat against Brighton.
The Toffees were thrashed at Goodison Park on Tuesday night, with only muted cheers after Demarai Gray’s stoppage-time penalty and boos ringing around the stadium at the final whistle.
And supporters quickly took to Twitter to blast Everton’s performance – and label under-pressure manager Frank Lampard a ‘beaten man’ after a result which sees his side just one point above the relegation zone.

One said: ‘I am not looking forward to Everton being relegated after the relief of avoiding it last season. Just a hopeless disaster.’

And fans quickly took to Twitter to blast the players and manager for their woeful showing
One tweeted: ‘Lampard might go tomorrow but our problems run so so much deeper. What manager is going to get anything out of this squads pitiful attacking options.’
A fifth continued: ‘#everton what a terrible 11 we ve got. We literally have no good players, hopeless.’
While another simply concluded: ‘Everton are hopeless.’
