Olivia Colman reveals what she stole from ‘The Crown’ set

It’s a relic fit for a queen.

Olivia Colman, who played Queen Elizabeth II on Seasons 3 and 4 of Netflix’s “The Crown,” admitted to sneaking one item from the set.

“On my first day on ‘The Crown,’ which was about the stamp thing, there was an envelope on the desk, and it was, ‘To her Majesty, the Queen’ — and it had my face on a stamp,” she revealed Thursday on “The Graham Norton Show.”

The memento appears in the opening scene of Season 3 — and it’s the first time viewers catch a glimpse of Colman, 48, as Her Majesty. As Colman noted, her face is on the set piece, not Elizabeth’s.

The Oscar winner, who exited the series in 2020, was as captivated by the keepsake in real life as Elizabeth was in the scene.

A crew member reportedly took notice — and gave the stamp of approval for her to slip it home.

“It was a lovely props person who said, ‘I’m not allowed to do this, but take that,’” Colman claimed.

Claire Foy, 38, portrayed Elizabeth on “The Crown” Seasons 1 and 2. Foy and Colman reflected on the royal’s legacy when the queen died Sept. 8 at the age of 96.

“I think that she was an incredible monarch,” Foy told the BBC. “She united people, and she was a massive symbol of continuity and dignity and grace.”

“My main feeling is just thinking about her as a mother and a grandmother and a great-grandmother, really,” the “First Man” actress added. “I’m very honored to have been a teeny tiny, small part of her story.”

On Elizabeth’s legacy and service to her country, Colman told Variety, “I wouldn’t know where to begin with that.”

She continued: “She made a promise as a young woman, and she absolutely kept it with such dignity. We’re all incredibly impressed by what she did.”

“The Crown” Season 5 premiered in November, and Season 6 filming is underway.
