Sky TV users can claim a free festive film today – don't miss out on blockbuster offer

If you’re looking for a Christmas movie to enjoy whilst digesting the festive dinner, Sky has the answer. The satellite TV firm is currently dishing out free seasonal flicks with customers able to download one of two movies without paying a penny for the privilege.

The duo of classic movies include “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” starring Jim Cary or there’s British hit “Love Actually” to watch without grabbing the credit card.

This iconic rom-com features stars including Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson and Colin Firth. Sound enticing? To claim the blockbuster, you’ll need to be a Sky VIP member. You’ll then need to head to the Sky Store on your set-top box and download the movie to keep and watch whenever you like.

Along with the free movie, there are plenty more treats available as part of Sky’s Christmas giveaway including six months of free access to Apple TV+.

This streaming service, which features exclusive award-winning series such as Ted Lasso and feature-length films including Coda, usually costs £6.99 per month but anyone with Sky VIP won’t pay a penny until summer 2023.

That’s a decent offer that saves a total of almost £42.

Next up, there’s some added content coming to homes with Sky Showcase being made available at no extra cost to all Sky TV customers until December 27th.

This channel not only features plenty of entertainment but will also be showing films such as Elf, The Polar Express and A Boy Called Christmas along with some top-flight football action and the Cazoo World Darts Competition.

Finally, there’s good news for anyone wanting to keep in touch with friends and family over Christmas.

Sky Talk has confirmed that it will be offering free calls to UK and International landlines and mobiles for customers all day on December 25 so users can chat without fear of racking up a huge bill.

For those wanting to make video calls or binge on Netflix there’s also free data on Christmas Day and Boxing Day for Sky Mobile customers.
