Naomi Campbell, 52, reflects on her incredible career as she announces modelling MasterClass

Naomi Campbell is one of the world’s top supermodels who started her incredible career as a teenager.

And on Thursday, the iconic catwalk queen, 52, announced her very own modelling MasterClass for fans, that will reflect on her success and shed a light on the industry.

Naomi stuns in a series of images as she promoted her new tutorial and says in a trailer that in the early stages of her career, she ‘had no idea how to pose’.

The course draws on Naomi’s extensive experience in the modelling industry and teaches fans how to ‘bring confidence into any room’.

She will also share some ‘life lessons,’ and ‘never-before-told stories’ from life in the industry, according to a new trailer.

‘I find even to this day, 36 years later, I’m in the front of the camera and holding my breath,’ Naomi says in the teaser.

‘In the early part of my career, I had no idea how to pose. I took my dance background and incorporated it into posing. That’s how I tried to fake it to make it so as to speak.’

She added: ‘Join me as I share life lessons, never-before-told stories and tips how to bring confidence into any room.’

Naomi said the course helps others with ’empowerment’.

'This class is about personal empowerment and authenticity, culture and community, and the power of giving back to open the doors for those who come after us,' she said

Other stars who have presented a MasterClass include the likes of Gordon Ramsay and Vogue’s Anna Wintour.

Fans can watch the MasterClass by signing up to the platform, which starts at £14 per month.

Despite wanting to be a dancer when she grew up, Naomi was scouted at Convent Garden as a teenager and covered British Elle shortly before her 16th birthday.

She has gone on to walk for the likes of Versace and Dior and is one of the ‘Big Six’ group of supermodels who dominated the industry and included the likes of Kate Moss and Linda Evangelista.

It comes after Naomi revealed she wants a biopic about her life to be made.

The supermodel said she is hoping to make an impression on the big screen and is keeping an eye out for a rising star to play her.

‘I would like it to be someone, who is unknown and preferably someone from South London,’ she told the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden.

Naomi was born to Jamaican-born dancer Valerie Morris and has never met her father, who abandoned her mother when she was pregnant.

The model added: ‘I’ve had my success, and I want to see the success of the next generation.’

In her early modelling days, Naomi battled drug addiction, going to rehab in 1999 after five years of cocaine addiction. She has since spoke candidly about her period of drug use.

As one of the top supermodels in history, Naomi has made millions, enjoyed incredible career success, and travelled the world.

But last year, she admitted that her high-powered jet-set lifestyle has meant at least one big sacrifice – finding a long-term romantic partner.

‘I’d say the sacrifice is really finding that soul mate who will understand you,’ she told The Cut.
