Kate Middleton and Princess Mary of Denmark don same accessory 'very few women' wear

That day was Kate’s 38th birthday and she had invited close friends and family to their country home in Norfolk the previous evening, according to People.

The guests reportedly attended church the next day with the couple, but this wasn’t the first time Kate opted for the daring accessory.

The Prince and Princess of Wales surprised fans on their 10th wedding anniversary by sharing a rare video of their life at home with their three children and Kate could be seen in country attire and another hat by Hicks & Brown, the Suffolk Fedora, featuring a pheasant feather wrap, but his time in olive.

“Kate usually wears more formal styles, but she was attending church on a winter’s day and our hats are made from wool, so they do add a bit of warmth,” Alice Leet-Cook, cofounder of Hicks & Brown, previously told PEOPLE.
