Sophie Turner, Kelly Rowland lead superstars down red carpet at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards

Sophie Turner, Mariska Hargitay, Kelly Rowland and a number of the other biggest women across numerous industries gathered for Glamour’s 2022 Women of the Year Awards in New York City on Tuesday.

Turner, 26, donned a long sleeve black minidress which ended high on her strong thighs. She added knee-high red boots to the ensemble as well.

The Dark Phoenix actress carried a boxy black clutch with her and let her long auburn locks fall down the sides of her face with bangs covering her forehead.

Hargitay, 58, donned a sparkling silver outfit with puffy short sleeves and fringe running down the skirt of her dress. 

The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star wore her hair pulled into a bun high on her head, and curly tresses framed her face.   

Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child fame decided on a form-fitting, black dress for the evening. The dress had cutouts at her shoulders and just below her ample chest. 

The singer-songwriter, 41, wore her hair in an updo, and she flashed a winning smile as she made her way down the red carpet. 

Dozens of other stars, including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actress Angela Bassett also stepped on to the red carpet. 

Bassett, 64, stunned in a gorgeous white gown which looked almost like a wedding dress. Sheer fabric obscured her shoulders though the dress didn’t have sleeves. 

The 9-1-1 actress tied her black hair back tightly while strands of it fell and curled toward her shoulders. 

Actress Patina Miller, 37, donned a form-fitting, long sleeve gold gown which hugged her impressive curves. 

Her dark hair was swept down her back, away from her smiling face. 

Garcelle Beauvais of NYPD Blue fame wore a black leather dress with a mesh cape. The 55-year-old added a splash of color with her hot pink purse. 

Alana, Danielle and Esta Haim of the rock band Haim chose muted ensembles, donning simple black suits with matching gray ties. 

Natasha Pearlman showed off some skin in a sheer black top over a black bra. Her skirt was covered in fringe and dragged across the ground. 

Her red hair was cut short with the bottom of her locks just barely reaching her shoulders. 

Fashion designer and businesswoman Stacey Bendet, 44, wore a mainly red gown with a floral-like pattern that encircled her outfit. 

Singer-songwriter Jennifer Hudson wore a black, off-the-shoulder, jumpsuit with a pair of black high heels. 

The 41-year-old’s hair was pulled up into a tight bun that sat on the back of her scalp. She flashed her blue, acrylic nails as well.   

Irish TV presenter Laura Whitmore wore a black, off-the shoulder dress with fringe hanging off her chest. The dress ended in the middle of her thighs. 

The 37-year-old stood on black high heels, and stockings snaked up her long legs. Her blonde hair was pulled back into a bun. She painted her lips a bright red. 

Her fellow countrywoman, 31-year-old Eve Hewson donned a low-cut white dress which accentuated her chest. 

Her blonde hair was brushed off to the left, with one long wavy lock resting on her cheek and jaw. 

The dress clung to her waist, and the hem of the gown brushed along the ground. 

Several Olympic athletes also attended the affair including Chloe Kim and Sunisa Lee. 

Kim, 22, donned a sleeveless white dress, slit down the left leg showing off her strong thigh. She stood on beige sandals. 

Lee, 19, wore a red zebra print dress that stopped just above her knees. She added matching red high heels to the outfit. 

Her black hair was pulled back in a tight bun and huge silver earrings dangled down toward her shoulders. 

Comedian Busy Philipps wore a low-cut, ruffled white gown to the event along with black platform high heels and stockings. 

The 43-year-old’s messy blonde locks cascaded down her back, and she made a statement with her clutch which read, ‘Abortion is on the ballot.’ 

Social media influencer Hannah Bronfman wore a sheer blue garment which just barely covered her chest. It showed off the spandex she wore around her waist. 

The gown trailed behind the 35-year-old as she walked, and her black hair was pulled up into a bun with thick strands of it framing her face. 

Teyana Taylor, 31, wore a black blazer over a blue and white t-shirt with the portrait of a woman on it. She added black trousers to the outfit and accessorized with a silver neck covering. 

Her dark, curly locks fell to the sides of her face, parted in the middle, and rested in the middle of her back. 

She posed with Samantha Barry, the editor-in-chief of Glamour, on the red carper who stunned in a vibrant pink dress.  

Political staffer Huma Abedin, 46, wore a stylish white gown and held a furry white clutch close to her hip. 

Nicole Ari Parker wore a black minidress and matching black high heels while Olivia DeJonge wore a stylish, powder blue pantsuit. 

Tarana Burke wore a sparkling dark green dress underneath a metallic pink cape which dragged along the carpet as she walked. 

Chef Carla Hall donned a fascinating ensemble, sheer high on the right side of her chest and around her toned tummy. 

Jordan Hewson, sister to Eve, wore a black dress with sheer material clinging to her barely-there tummy.  

Jordan, Eve and their mother Ali all posed together at the event. Ali shares her two daughters with Bono who wasn’t spotted at the event. 

Billy Magnussen of Into the Woods fame looked classically handsome in a navy blue suit and black bowtie. 

Honoree Shannon Watts, founder of gun violence grassroots campaign Moms Demand Action, spoke during the event as did designer Aurora James. 

Chelsea Clinton donned a mesh black dress as she spoke to the assembled group. Her curly brown hair fell to the top of her back. 

Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards is an annual event that celebrates influential women throughout a number of industries. Dozens of women from different walks of life all attended the event this year which specifically honored Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett, abortion activist Dr. Rebecca Gomperts, Haim and several others.
