Frank Warren believes Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois are ready for a world title shot, as he claims both fighters could ‘knock out Anthony Joshua’ and take on Oleksandr Usyk if his bout with Tyson Fury doesn’t happen next year

Frank Warren is confident that both Joe Joyce and Daniel Dubois could knockout former unified champion Anthony Joshua.
AJ suffered a second-straight defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in August, having lost his WBA, WBO and IBF belts to the Ukrainian mastermind in September last year.
Warren has said Joyce and Dubois could not only floor AJ, but beat Ukrainian southpaw Usyk if the Tyson Fury bout doesn’t happen next year.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Warren said: ‘He [AJ] is liable to get knocked over by anybody. I’d put any of my guys in with him. Any of them. Joe Joyce would knock him out and Dubois would do the same.
‘We’ve worked very hard over the last few years on this heavyweight scene and we’ve guided our guys in different organisations and we’ve boxed it off a bit so I’m pleased.
‘Joe done extremely well [against Joseph Parker], got great reviews back from America because his fight done big numbers over there.
‘It was a good fight to watch. He’s set himself up. Him and Tyson [Fury] will be a huge fight, [Deontay] Wilder will be a huge fight, AJ. He’ll be out in February. He’s in a real good spot.’

Warren went on to say he saw both Joyce and Dubois as viable options for Usyk if his highly-anticipated bout with Fury fell through the cracks next year.
The promoter said: ‘Now I’m going to be able to start throwing Daniel Dubois at him [Usyk] and Joe [Joyce].
‘If he don’t fight one of them I think they’ll find it hard to sell anything and he can’t say, ‘Why should I do that?’. I’ll tell you why, he’ll become a mandatory.’
