Ellen DeGeneres has been spending more time at home with her wife Portia de Rossi since her hit talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show came to an end in May.

And on Saturday, the couple packed on the PDA while out shopping in Santa Barbara County, which is about 83 miles north from Los Angeles, but only a few minute drive from their posh $49 million mansion in Montecito.

Looking relaxed and at ease, the pair chatted as they walked hand-in-hand near a stretch of stores and restaurants, and on more than one occasion couldn’t contain their laughter.

The couple both opted for casual and comfort in the fashion department when they stepped out from their nearby mansion for an afternoon excursion.

DeGeneres, 64, wore brown utility pants, with elastic on the cuffs that hugged on to her ankles, and a black t-shirt.

Knowing she would be doing a lot of walking, the former daytime talk show queen also sported a pair of blue and brown running sneakers, and had her blonde hair cut short with a part on the left.

The Louisiana native appeared to cracking jokes while telling a funny story, which seem to keep her longtime partner amused and laughing out loud.

De Rossi, 49, was similarly dressed in black utility pants, only she would add a blue and white-patterned poncho to the mix, along with brown ankle boots.

The actress, who’s a native of Horsham, Victoria, Australia, had her long blonde tresses pulled back off her face and into a loose bun.

The former Arrested Development and Ally McBeal star appeared to get into storytelling mode, which also prompted a few laughs from the both of them.

Now that The Ellen DeGenres Show aired its finale in late May, the couple spend most of their time at their 9,000 square foot, 4.3 acre Montecito mansion, according to Insider, which isn’t too far from where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live in a $15 million home.

The celebrity couple have also had a sprawling home in the posh Beverly Hills neighborhood over the years.

DeGeneres and de Rossi are also a well-known real estate tandem, who have focused a lot of their business deals on renovating and flipping homes in Los Angeles and the Montecito area, and then selling them, oftentimes to celebrity buyers. 

The pair have been romantically linked for about 18-years, and were married in August 2008 following the overturn of the same-sex marriage ban in California.
