Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon follows the tale of a girl with unusual powers who escapes from a mental asylum and tries to make it on her own in New Orleans.

Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon began filming in July 2019, but was only completed in July 2021 before its premiere earlier this year.
Jeon Jong-seo plays the girl with Hudson portraying Bonnie, alongside Ed Skrein’s Fuzz and Craig Robinson’s Officer Harold.
The film had its world premiere at the Venice festival earlier this month and is set for a September 30 theatrical release.
