Floyd Mayweather has announced he will take on YouTube star Deji on November 13 in Dubai and Fury well reportedly fight on the undercard

According to Boxing Scene, Fury will step back into the ring for the first time in six months when fighting on the undercard of Mayweather vs Deji.

It was mark Fury’s second fight in 13 months after he missed out on the opportunity to face his rival Paul on two separate occasions.

Fury and Paul were supposed to settle their rivalry back in December 2021 at the Amalie Arena in Florida, but Fury had to pull out with a broken rib and a chest infection.

Therefore, the fight was rearranged for August 6 at Madison Square Garden. However, doubts over their fight started to creep in when the Brit was banned from travelling to America for their press conference.

Paul took to Twitter shortly after to confirm he was pulling the plug on their highly-anticipated bout – claiming Fury ‘went into hiding’ while he tried to finalise their deal.

Paul said: ‘Fury’s received a termination notice. MVP [Most Valuable Promotions] did everything it could 2 help him & team. He wasn’t interested & he literally went into hiding.

‘2nd time in a row he has pulled out. 2nd time in a row I’m going to step up & take on a new opponent on short notice. AUG 6. MSG.’

Fury responded by sharing a statement on his Instagram. It read: ‘I’m gutted and disappointed in regards to the issues I have faced with entry into the USA.

‘This is something that myself or my team could have never anticipated happening. This situation has been left with my lawyers as being denied entry to a country is obviously a very serious issue and it needs to be subsequently resolved.

‘I am confident this fight will happen when this issue gets resolved and we come to a solution. I want to clarify that I will fight in a neutral country that both parties can enter. This can be any time, any place, any where.’
