Cary Grant's widow Dyan Cannon, 85, still looks youthful as she stops by the Sidney premiere

She was one of the top movie stars of her day with films such as 1969’s Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice and 1973’s The Last Of Sheila.

And the star was also wed to Hollywood icon Cary Grant, with whom she shares 56-year-old daughter Jennifer Grant. He died in 1986.

On Wednesday Dyan Cannon proved that she still looks amazing as the 85-year-old hobnobbed it with stars such as Oprah Winfrey and Cher at the premiere of Sidney in Los Angeles.

The beauty posed with pals such as Michael Nouri and Burt Young who gave her a kiss on the cheek.

The star had on a white Panama hat with a dark ribbon as her long blonde hair was worn down in soft curls.

She had on a black outfit that highlighted her slender figure.

Cannon still works and her last movie was 2021’s Hope’s Legacy. 

Cannon was wed to Grant from 1965 until 1968 and wrote a book about him: Dear Cary: My Life with Cary Grant

Grant was an English-American actor.

His biggest hit films were North By Northwest, To Catch A Thief, Charade, An Affair To Remember, Notorious and Houseboat.

Known for his mid-Atlantic accent, he was one of classic Hollywood’s definitive leading men from the 1930s until the mid-1960s. 

Grant was born and brought up in Bristol, England.

The event was star studded.

Oprah, 68, stunned in a transparent white button-up shirt and a matching multi-layer skirt.

The If I Could Turn Back Time singer, 76, wowed in a fitted black suit jacket and matching pants.

Sidney is a documentary film about legendary Hollywood actor Sidney Poitier. The movie – which follows his life and legacy – is set to premiere on September 23, 2022 on Apple TV+.

Oprah paired her stylish look with pointed-toe silver heels, and further accessorized with round wire-rim eyeglasses.

The television producer sparkled up her look with a giant white and silver rock on her finger, and wore dazzling dangling earrings for the evening out. 

The actress wore her black tresses in a chic high ponytail, and highlighted her features with voluminous eyelashes and nude lipstick.  

At one point the Queen Of All Media was seen touching a poster featuring a young Poitier, whom she considered a mentor and friend.

Oprah also helped produce the new film about the late Hollywood screen legend – directed by Reginald Hudlin – with Derik Murray.

Meanwhile Cher finalized her look with a pair of chunky black boots.

The singer wore her black tresses parted in the middle and cascading down her shoulders in curls.

The Goddess of Pop wore vivid makeup for the occasion, sporting orange eyeshadow and pink blush.

Also at the premiere was actor John Savage and his girlfriend Blanca Blanco who made a ravishing couple on the red carpet.

The Deer Hunter star, 73, looked classy in a dark navy tuxedo and bowtie, which he paired with black dress shoes.

Meanwhile his other half, 41, wore a form-fitting unique paint-splash-print dress with a long fringe bottom and pointed-toe black heels.

The beauty had hair auburn tresses pinned up into a bun, with jagged strands  left out in the front to frame her face.

She further accessorized her look with a pair of white dangling earrings and smoky eye makeup. 

Diana Ross’ son Evan Ross, 34, looked trendy as ever in a slouchy black sweatshirt and corduroy black pants, which he matched with a light pink scarf loosely wrapped around his neck, and a pair of chunky black sneakers.

Ashlee Simpson’s husband wore his blonde tresses closely cropped and sported a pair of gold earrings for the night. 

Sydney Poitier – named after her father – looked sensational in an ocean blue pleated gown.

The 48-year-old actress paired the stunning bright dress with an iridescent jacket and wore brown open-toe heels for the night as she celebrated her father’s legacy.

The beauty was also joined by her sisters: Sherri Poitier, Beverly Poitier-Henderson, Anika Poitier and Pamela Poitier. 

Sherri looked splendid in a gold-toned shawl over a silver dress, which she paired with a chunky necklace.

Meanwhile Beverly stunned in an all-white look with a matching shawl. Anika looked graceful in a flowing navy gown.

Pamela showed off her toned arms in a floor-length black gown, which she paired with a white purse.   

South-Sudanese-American model and actress Kuoth Wiel showed off her endless legs in a fiery hot red mini dress, which she paired with black leather boots.

Actress Vanessa Bell Calloway, 65, put her toned legs on display in a black mini skirt, which she paired with a black top and black booties. 

Loretta Devine, 73, looked chic in a patterned black jumpsuit and sandals.

Shari Belafonte, 68, stood out in an all-orange ensemble, which she paired with sparkly tennis shoes and a gold necklace.   

Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, 65, wowed in a sleeveless black jumpsuit, which she teamed with a gold Chanel purse and a colorful scarf. The star was also seen posing together for a photo with Oprah at the event. 

Sidney made its much-anticipated debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in early September, which sadly came eight months after Poitier’s death at the age of 94. 

It tells the story of the life and career of heralded actor and director, who has the distinguished honor of being the first Black actor to win the Academy Award for Best Actor.

The film, which had been in development and production for five years, takes a wide-ranging look at his life told in linear fashion and narrated by the actor himself through the use of eight hours of interview footage done in 2012 with Winfrey, as well as other archival interviews.
