Ted Cruz brands Joe Biden 'the biggest human trafficker on the face of the planet'

Senator Ted Cruz branded Joe Biden ‘the biggest human trafficker on the face of the planet’ as the war over GOP governors moving illegal immigrants to liberal cities and areas escalates.

During an appearance on Fox’s Hannity Friday night, the GOP lawmaker said: ‘The Democrats did not think it was a humanitarian crisis when we pulled over 50 bodies and body bags out of a truck in Texas of illegal immigrants who died because the smugglers let them die of heat exposure.

‘And yet suddenly, 50 illegal immigrants show up in lily-white Martha’s Vineyard, where rich liberals and billionaires sip Chardonnay. And it is World War III.’

Cruz continued: ‘Right now, the biggest human trafficker on the face of the planet is Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.

‘He has transported hundreds of thousands, millions of illegal aliens populating them now, putting many of them in Red states.’

DeSantis flew in 50 immigrants from Venezuela on Wednesday, sparking a widespread cry of outrage from the liberal leaders of the small and in Massachusetts.

Democrats have accused GOP leaders DeSantis and Texas Gov Greg Abbott of using ‘human beings as political pawns.’

Republicans have said they’re giving liberals a taste of what the Biden administration’s border policies are doing to cities along the Texas-Mexico border.

Abbott bused in 101 migrants yards from Vice President Kamala Harris’ home in Washington DC, earlier this week – after she declared the southern border as ‘secure.’

He sent another 50 to the Naval Observatory on Saturday morning, and three buses arrived at New York’s Port Authority the same day.

One unidentified man who filmed outside the Naval Observatory on Thursday told Fox News: ‘The border is open, not closed. Everybody believes that the border is open.

‘It is open because we enter. We come in free, no problem. We came illegally, not legally.’

Cruz has blasted President Biden for the Democrat’s reaction to the transportation of the migrants – which the White House has branded as ‘inhumane’.

He branded the Democrats as ‘screaming hypocrites’, before claiming that ‘every word out of their mouth is a complete and utter lie.’

Cruz referenced what is thought to be the deadliest human smuggling case in modern US history.

He added: ‘He’s happy to put them in Red states where it’s not the rich peoples’ concerns, it’s the little peoples’ concerns.

‘You know, all of the folks on Martha’s Vineyard happily voted for Joe Biden.

‘Well, they can live with the consequences of the lawless policies that right now, the people of McAllen, the people of Laredo, the people of Eagle Pass, the people of Texas are feeling the price for this.’

The GOP leaders say they’re keen for liberals who espouse ‘sanctuary cities’ to experience the full effects of uncontrolled immigration, which has hit Texas border cities including Del Rio and El Paso very hard.

Nearly 1,000 migrants have been released to sleep on the streets of El Paso amid a surge of illegal crossings that is overwhelming Border Patrol facilities.

Border Patrol facilities and shelters in the west Texas town have been overwhelmed in recent days, leading to a flood of so-called ‘street releases.’

It has led to scenes of misery, with hundreds of migrants sleeping on the streets without access to toilets or showers, and residents say that the ‘smell of human waste is overwhelming in the area.’

Gov. Charlie Baker made the decision to move the illegal immigrants just 48 hours after they landed in the billionaire’s enclave, with some residents reportedly left reeling

The situation in El Paso comes after the Biden administration officially extended special protections for Venezuelans, known as Temporary Protected Status, that shield some of them from deportation.

Cruz claims that Biden is ‘lying’ to the American people, adding: ‘And this outrage needs to stop because you know what, these blue governors and mayors are right. It is a crisis.

‘But it’s not just a crisis when it’s the millionaires who are inconvenienced.’

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre took aim at DeSantis and Abbott during a press conference today, urging other Republicans who do not agree with their ‘blueprint’ to ‘speak up.’

She said: ‘This is an issue and we have been clear about this, this is an issue that is inhumane it is abhorrent and we should not be using people, migrants, who are fleeing communism as a political pawn.’

Lt. Gov Jeanette Nunez also declared that DeSantis’ administration is planning to send any illegal migrants from Florida to Delaware – Biden’s home state.

VP Harris remained silent on the issue when she entered the Naval Observatory on Friday, after refusing to answer questions on the issue on Thursday.

However, her husband Doug Emhoff said: ‘I do have a reaction. I think it was shameful. These are human beings. These are people.

‘They needed to be treated with dignity and kindness and respect and they weren’t.

‘And we have so-called leaders in this country who, rather than focusing on what’s good for the public within their own states, they’re using people as pawns for a political stunt.’

The Commissioner of Immigration Affairs for New York said on Friday that a lot of the migrants being bused from Texas by Gov Greg Abbott are coming from Venezuela.

Manuel Castro claims that the majority of illegal immigrants that have arrived in New York want to go to Florida because of their large community of Venezuelans, so they will be flying them to the Sunshine State.

New York City law requires the city to provide housing for anyone who requests it, with Castro adding that around 7,300 asylum seekers currently remain in the system.

The system has become so overwhelmed that city hall has had to contract hotel rooms to house the thousands coming into the city.

In a statement on Wednesday, Adams whined about Abbott’s busing policy that has inundated the city with thousands of migrants and left a group of 60 without access to a shelter on Monday.

He said: ‘In this new and unforeseen reality, where we expect thousands more to arrive every week going forward, the city’s system is nearing its breaking point.’

So far Texas has sent 11,000 migrants by bus to the Big Apple, with the latest group arriving from El Paso.
