Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen's daughter's card gets declined at McDonald's

Amanda Owen, who is the star of Our Yorkshire Farm, has introduced the world to her family of nine children. The shepherdesses eldest daughter, Raven Owen, admitted her card got declined at McDonald’s in a recent Instagram post.

Fans are enamoured with the Owen family who viewers have grown to know after their reality series first aired on Channel 5 in 2018.

The show follows Amanda, her now estranged husband Clive and their nine children at Ravenseat as they tackle the day-to-day tasks of living on a farm.

Amanda and Clive share nine children together – Raven, Rueben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie and Nancy.

Viewers may recall the former couple’s eldest daughter Raven, a university student, has hopes to work on creating coronavirus vaccines as she neared the end of her degree.

The student now splits her time between the city of York where she completes her studies and Ravenseat.

Taking to Instagram, Raven could not resist sharing a cheeky selfie of herself jumping into the sky before making a candid admission.

She captioned the post: “My card got declined in McDonald’s :’)”, although she didn’t look too sad about it.

Some of her 30,000 followers flocked to the comment section as they joked she should have received the food for free.

Meanwhile, Amanda’s eldest daughter recently shared a photo of herself as she returned home to the Yorkshire Dales.

Raven could be seen on a horse as she posed for the candid photo as fans reacted to the uncanny resemblance to her mum, Amanda.

Lynn Bo wrote: “Look like your mum.”

Colin Fawcett said: “Looks like you and Hazel have formed a great bond. The gentle giantess seems so at ease.”(sic)

Elizabeth added: “Gorgeous photos.”

Meanwhile, Channel 5 has since confirmed Our Yorkshire Farm will soon return for another series after a hit five seasons.

It comes after Amanda and Clive confirmed their split after 22 years of marriage.

Earlier this year, a spokesperson for Channel 5 confirmed to Express.co.uk that they will continue to work with the couple in the future, saying: “We respect the privacy of Amanda and Clive Owen at this time.

“They are very much a part of the Channel 5 family and we will continue to work with them in the future.”
