Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were all smiles as they arrived for a settling-in afternoon at Lambrook School, in Berkshire. The settling-in afternoon is an event held to welcome new starters and their families before the start of the term.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge decided to move to Windsor to be closer to the Queen and have now made Adelaide Cottage, in Windsor Park, their official residence.
The move meant Prince George, Charlotte and Louis, who used to attend St Thomas’s in Battersea close to their former residence Kensington Palace, are now starting at a new school.
To drop the children off at Lambrook School, Kate chose a very chic look and wore a brown midi polka dot dress.
The gown featured three-quarter length sleeves and a shirt collar, and the Duchess combined it with a pair of brown suede stilettos.

For accessories, the royal simply wore a pair of pearl drop earrings which perfectly complemented her elegant look.
The Duchess looked more stylish than ever and was all smiles as she chatted to Prince William and the children on their way to the school.
She kept her hair loose, which looked notably shorter and lighter than in her last public appearance, and opted for a natural make-up look.
Kate is a fan of polka dot dresses and often wears them for the most important occasions, such as her most recent Wimbledon outing or the Royal Ascot back in June.

Colour psychologist and director of design at Lick Colour, Tash Bradley, explained why the Duchess may love polka dot dresses so much: “So someone who is wearing polka dots, they’re wanting to portray a fun-ness, a sort of playfulness. When you think of polka dots you instantly soften.
“When you go for polka dots it’s very playful, it opens up conversation, it makes you give off a sort of warm feel.
“It’s interesting that they’ve all gone for polka dots because that straight away just screams out fun. That you’re there to have a bit of fun, you’re not trying to take yourself too seriously, you’re trying to be softer in your approach I would say.

“If for instance Kate was wearing let’s say pink polka dots that could look too childish and actually the colour combination of the black and white with the polka dots works beautifully because then they have the elegance, the sophistication that she still needs, but polka dots – fun approachable, so that’s fascinating,” the expert told HELLO!.
Prince William wore a navy suit, light blue shirt and brown shoes and the children looked adorable in their brand new uniforms.
Prince George and Louis were seen wearing a white and light blue check shirt, navy shorts and black shoes while Princess Charlotte wore a cute navy check dress and black shoes.
Lambrook is located very close to Windsor and Prince George, Charlotte and Louis will only be 15 minutes away from the Queen. The Church of England school, which has a boarding fee of £25,440 according to the Good Schools Guide, is a mixed school from ages three to 13, which has a total of 610 students.
The school grounds feature a nine-hole golf course, a 25-metre swimming pool and an impressive sports hall, as well as a cricket pitch, squash courts, a dance studio and its own orchard with bees, chickens and pigs.
It was also reported that the Cambridges’ nanny Maria Borrello is not living with the family at Adelaide Cottage and she now lives elsewhere. This is the first time the royal children don’t have a live-in nanny, however, it is believed Maria will still look after them before and after school.
