Jennifer Lawrence says she has had recurring nightmares about Tucker Carlson and admits to distancing herself from family because of politics: ‘I’ve tried to get over it’
In 2017 Fox News personality Tucker Carlson called her ‘out of touch’ for her views on climate change.
And Jennifer Lawrence revealed that she actually has nightmares about the 53-year-old television personality.
The 32-year-old actress revealed to Vogue on Monday that she has told her therapist about having a recurring nightmare she has about Carlson while also admitting to distancing herself from her family on account of different political views.

Specifically, the Kentucky native mentioned her father, noting, ‘I just worked so hard in the last five years to forgive my dad and my family and try to understand: It’s different. The information they are getting is different. Their life is different.’
The new mom said to the publication, ‘I’ve tried to get over it and I really can’t. I can’t.’
In her typical outspoken and brash way she continued, ‘I’m sorry I’m just unleashing, but I can’t f*** with people who aren’t political anymore. You live in the United States of America. You have to be political. It’s too dire. Politics are killing people.’
She used a metaphor to emphasize her point further as she said, ‘It breaks my heart because America had the choice between a woman and a dangerous, dangerous jar of mayonnaise. And they were like, “Well, we can’t have a woman. Let’s go with the jar of mayonnaise.”‘

And the Silver Linings Playbook star thinks her situation is a common one.
‘I don’t want to disparage my family, but I know that a lot of people are in a similar position with their families,’ she remarked.
‘How could you raise a daughter from birth and believe that she doesn’t deserve equality? How?’
Other parts of her sit-down with the glossy were lighter, however. And she took part in the pub’s beloved 73 Questions series.

And when asked who she thinks ‘has the best style in the world’ she named fellow actress Sienna Miller.

Although she’s been focused on being a mother to her six-month-old son Cy this year, Jennifer is now preparing for the release of the upcoming feature Causeway.
The performer will star alongside Brian Tyree Henry and Samira Wiley in the forthcoming film, which will premiere next month at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
In addition to serving as the movie’s star, the actress is also listed as one of its producers.
