Emirates’ uber-luxury first class offering is now more mouthwatering than ever before.
Passengers paying for the top-tier ticket with the Middle Eastern airline can now indulge in unlimited caviar, served with a mother-of-pearl spoon and paired with Dom Perignon vintage Champagne.
The new perk is part of Emirates’ £1.6billion ($2billion) investment to ‘enhance its inflight customer experience’, with other new first-class offerings including a ‘cinema snack menu’, where passengers can order treats such as salted popcorn, lobster rolls and sliders on demand while watching films.

Other dishes first-class travellers can now expect include pan-fried salmon trout with creole rice and roasted duck breast with steamed broccolini and fondant potatoes.
In terms of non-meat options, the vegan menus have been upgraded to offer ‘handcrafted gourmet’ dishes for mains such as pan-roasted king oyster mushrooms, ‘flavoursome’ jackfruit biryani and ‘sliced kohlrabi garnished with burnt orange’.
The first-class vegan desserts are described as an equally ‘decadent affair’ with choices of chocolate truffle cake with hazelnut, pistachio and gold leaf, or green grape tart adorned with candied rose petals, vanilla custard, and berry compote ‘glistening with yuzu pearls’.
If they don’t hit the spot, Emirates cabin crew will come around to premium-class flyers with trays that are bedecked with ‘fine luxury chocolates and sweets’.

Funds are also being invested in the refurbishment of the aircraft fleet interiors. From November onwards, cabins will be retrofitted with new or reupholstered seats, new panelling and flooring.
New premium economy cabins will also be installed on certain planes. After the retrofit, Emirates will have a total of 120 aircraft offering premium economy seats.
The upgraded elements will no doubt further cement Emirates’ status as one of the world’s most luxurious airlines.
In first class, some of the airline’s existing standout perks include spa showers, lounge areas decked out with snacks, private suites with flat beds, Bvlgari amenity kits and premium Bowers & Wilkins headphones.

Commenting on Emirates’ new offerings, the airline’s president, Sir Tim Clark, said: ‘While others respond to industry pressures with cost cuts, Emirates is flying against the grain and investing to deliver ever better experiences to our customers.
‘Through the pandemic we’ve continued to launch new services and initiatives to ensure our customers travel with the assurance and ease, including digital initiatives to improve customer experiences on the ground. Now we’re rolling out a series of intensive programmes to take Emirates’ signature inflight experiences to the next level.’
