Episode of Australian children’s show Bluey is BANNED by Disney+ in US because it shows cartoon dog FARTING

An episode from popular Australian children’s show Bluey isn’t available on American streaming service Disney+ because it was deemed ‘inappropriate’ and didn’t meet the streaming service’s guidelines.

The episode, titled ‘Family Meeting’, was was initially banned because one of the cartoon dogs farts in a scene. 

However a Disney Branded Television employee told Pirates and Princesses the episode will soon be available after they had a change of heart.

‘Family Meeting’ will roll out on US platforms soon. Some of the Bluey content did not meet Disney Junior broadcast S&P in place at the time the series was acquired,’ they said.  

‘Now that it is rolling out on other platforms, it is a great opportunity to reevaluate which is what we plan to do.’

During the episode, Bluey’s dad Bandit is accused of letting off a fart in front of his eldest daughter.

The Aussie animated series is wildly popular in the US and won the Kids: Preschool Award at the 2019 International Emmys.

The show has captured the hearts and minds of schoolchildren across America and is even changing the way they speak.

Kids in the United States are beginning to speak with an unmistakable Australian twang after watching Bluey.

The cartoon premiered on the Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+ in September 2019.

Last year The New York Times described the show as ‘the biggest Australian export since The Wiggles’ – the country’s most famous children’s band.

The cartoon stays true to its true-blue roots and is packed with ‘g’day’ greetings and Aussie phrases like ‘show us your thongs, muffin!’
