Ontario Premier Doug Ford created quite a buzz when he accidentally swallowed a bee during a live press conference.
Ford, 57, was in the middle of taking questions from reporters on privatizing health care at the presser in Dundalk, Ontario on Friday when the bee flew straight into his mouth.
‘Holy Christ, I just swallowed a bee!’ Ford exclaimed through a coughing fit as he reached for his water bottle.
In video footage of the press conference which has since gone viral, the bee is seen buzzing around Ford’s face seconds before it dives right into his open mouth.
The premier took a swig of his water, quickly composed himself, and joked that video would cause a buzz.
‘I’m good. He’s down here buzzing around right now,’ Ford reassured the crowd, pointing at his stomach. ‘He has a lot of real estate!’

‘Man, he went right down the hatch,’ Ford said, laughing.
‘This is going to be played over and over again,’ he added.
‘This is going to be replayed over and over again. And that just made Colin D’Mello’s day. He’s going to be laughing all the way to the city, ‘ Ford said of the Global News reporter.
‘This is a good one. I’m going to be howling tonight watching this tape.’
