In her caption, the ex-wife of Nikki Sixx of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe said she is not near perfect ‘but I’m feeling pretty damn good.’

‘I took a little break and drove across America with my dog,’ shared Donna.

‘This country of ours is beautiful. I never knew just how beautiful until I drove across it and took the time to appreciate it. Have an awesome day. ‘

She later went back to her comments section and added, ‘And for anyone wondering, no there are NO filters on this video. I took it with my regular iPhone video camera propped on a patio table and I’m standing in beautiful sunlight.’

D’Errico added, ‘That’s self tanner you’re seeing, I’m not wearing makeup, and hadn’t washed my hair in two days because I’d been traveling on the road.’

In mid July she posted a sexy bikini photo to Instagram with a bit of sass in her caption.

The Candyman III star told her followers that she is not too old to post these types of sexy swimwear shots.

The comment was a reaction to the hate she received on 4th of July when she was seen in a bathing suit during a video shared to social media, she explained.

‘Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red white & blue bikini because they thought I was “classier than that” and “too old to wear a bikini” and, my favorite, “desperate,”‘ shared the bombshell.

‘Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want. On that note, here is me in a bikini squatting on a coffee table ❤️.’

She added a second note as well.

In the clip she is seen in a red, white and blue bikini as she played God Bless USA.

‘Happy 4th of July everyone! US,’ read her caption as she wished her fans well in the clip while pulling at her bikini bottoms.

The comments seemed to be only flattering with fans saying she was ‘beautiful’ and  ‘stunning.’

In the new image, the actress looked stunning in the little suit with a tiny waistline and toned legs. Her hair was worn down over her bare shoulders.

In 2020, she told DailyMail.com exclusively about her goals.

‘A lot of people want puppies because they are so cute. But I wanted to help the ones that were passed over. And I think the dogs are grateful, they know they have been helped out, and in return they are very loyal.’

D’Errico said she kept the animals until they passed.

Throughout her lifetime she says she has adopted around seven rescued senior dogs.

One dog came from Linda Blair of The Exorcist fame who runs a rescue herself.

After Donna’s mother died, another family member passed and then a rescue pooch went to dog heaven all within the same year, Donna took a break from bringing in rescue dogs.

‘But now I am ready to get back to it,’ the pinup said, ‘and I want to take in a dog again. I will start looking soon.’

For now, she has the company of her pet bird Charlie. ‘At first I thought she was a boy but when I took her to the vet I found out she was a girl. But I kept the name,’ she said.

‘Charlie is on my shoulder a lot, even when I am in the kitchen, she is fun to have around and she is like an intruder alarm, she knows when someone is coming,’ said the former Playboy model with a laugh.

‘I got her when she was one. The former owners thought she was too much work so I took her.’
