Coronation Street theory: Stu Carpenter exposed as Aaron Sanford's abuser

Aaron (played by James Craven) recently revealed the extent of his horrific abuse to his girlfriend Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) on Coronation Street. While he insisted he was attacked by thugs, he was later seen having a suspicious phone call. ITV soap fans have been speculating Stu Carpenter was on the end of the phone – could he be responsible for abusing Aaron?

When answering the call, Aaron appeared confused as it seemed the person on the phone wanted to meet him at a specific time, to which he replied: “I’m sorry.

“I will come now,” he added before someone seemed to issue a threat as he said: “Please, don’t. I will come now, right now.

“I’m sorry. It was my mistake. I got mixed up,” he continued, with the person on the other end of the phone getting cut off.

When Summer re-entered the room, Aaron made his excuses and left so he could meet with the mystery caller.

Wini Boansi said: “I am looking forward to seeing the back story about Stu. There’s something a little off… #Corrie.”

Will it soon come to light that Stu is Aaron’s father as well as his abuser?

ITV soap spoilers have revealed the story of Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) offering Stu a lifeline when he was homeless ends up being on the front page of the local paper.
