Christie Brinkley's daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook is sensational in a yellow bikini

She is just like her mother, the effervescent 1980s supermodel Christie Brinkley who starred in the film Vacation and posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition several times.

On Wednesday Sailor Brinkley Cook looked radiant as she showed off her toned, tanned figure in a bright yellow bikini while enjoying some fresh air in the backyard of a home.

The model has recently returned from the island of Ischia in Italy where she celebrated her 24th birthday.

The 24-year-old Sports Illustrated model appeared to be in a good mood as she sunbathed, dined on lobster and pasta, and went swimming with her female pals in Italy.

‘Più pasta per favore!’ wrote the siren in her caption for her 192k followers. There were also images of her plates of pasta.

Her Cover Girl star mother Christie Brinkley – who was last seen at the annual Polo Hamptons Match and Cocktail Party on July 23, 2022 in Bridgehampton, New York – wrote in the comments section: ‘BELLISSIMA‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️’

And her half sister Alexa Ray Joel, whose dad is 73-year-old Uptown Girl and Piano Man singer Billy Joel, hit the like button. 

Christie, 68, has three children whom all have different fathers.

Alexa’s father is Piano Man crooner Billy Joel, her son Jack’s dad is Richard Taubman and Sailor’s father is Peter Cook, an architect.

This spring the budding dancer showed off her figure in a bikini as she let her silky, long blonde hair fly in the breeze while proving once again she has a megawatt smile when in the Caribbean.

‘When the sun comes out after 2 days of rain and you forget how to act,’ Sailor wrote in the caption to her Instagram followers.

There were several images from the shore, one including a snapshot of her mother’s dog Chester. 

Sailor wrote a candid post on her Insta Stories revealing how she used to worry that her ‘muscular and shapely’ legs looked manly. 

The star is known for expressing her doubts on social media. 

‘Idk what happened but I popped out the womb with a lot of leg muscle. My calves at 7 years old looked like I was a marathon bike racer,’ she quipped.

‘Since I was little it’s been an insecurity of mine that they make my body look “masculine”,’ Sailor candidly revealed, sharing: ‘It’s always been hard not to compare myself to women with thin dainty legs.’

Even now when her mother showed her recent photographs, Sailor was repulsed by the look of her legs and of her figure in general.

‘I spiraled into thinking that maybe I should stop running & biking to lessen my leg muscles. I was thinking maybe I exercise too much and need to stop. I almost even thought I should skip dinner and go on a diet,’ said she.

‘I preach self love and body image on here but to be transparent.. how I feel about my body and the love I have for it is not always positive one day as it is the next. I am not perfectly in line with what I preach here. Definitely not.’ 

However she shared the ‘silver lining’ that she ‘was able to switch my mindset after a negativity spiral into a place of gratitude. I reminded myself how grateful I am to have these two strong healthy legs. How proud I am of how hard I work in the gym every day, and how good that makes me feel.’ 

Sailor also noted ‘how LUCKY i am to not only have food on my plate every day but to also eat organic, nourishing, colorful, beautiful foods daily.’ 

Meanwhile, her mother Christie shared a bikini selfie taken this weekend where her tummy looked very flat and toned as she showed off her closet in the background.
