Singer Nolan Neal has died at the age of 41.

The crooner was found dead in his Nashville apartment on Monday, shared his cousin Dylan Seals with TMZ. The site also confirmed the death with the medical examiner in Nashville.

The musician was best known as a contestant on two hot TV competition shows:  The Voice where he was on Adam Levine’s team in 2016 and America’s Got Talent where he worked with Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofía Vergara and Simon Cowell in 2020.

No official cause of death has been determined yet, shared the site.

Seals had lived with the star before the pandemic began and said he was clean and sober, even though he had spoken in the past about struggle with substances. 

Nolan had been honest about his battle with drugs.

He admitted that he was still struggling with addiction during an interview with WBIR in 2020, which was at the time he was on The Voice.

The singer was on season 15 of America’s Got Talent where he sang Lost and Send Me a Butterfly. 

He made it to the quarterfinals where he sang Send Me A Butterfly.

And he was on season 10 of The Voice. The musician was chose by Adam Levine. 

The star made it to the Knockout Round before he was let go.

His last Facebook post was from three days ago where he shared that he was playing at the Hotel Indigo in Nashville on Sunday from 6 pm until 9 pm with free admission, but then in the comments box Neal said that the show was canceled by the manager with no reason why as he said, ‘Sorry guys.’

He then added, ‘Y’all should call the Hotel and tell them you want to see me play there lol.’

He had been signed to Hollywood Records and came out with the albums The Wire and NashviLA.

On his Facebook page, where he has 117K followers, he called himself a ‘Christian Southern Rock Singer/Songwriter From AGT & The Voice.’

And he added, ‘Trying to wake up a woke world.’

A Nolan Neal fan page posted Tuesday morning about his death, saying, ‘I can’t believe you’re gone from us’ and ‘heaven just got a new music director.’
