Woman choked by Ezra Miller in Iceland thought they were 'playing': Also harassed woman in Berlin

A woman choked by Flash actor Ezra Miller outside a bar in Iceland has spoken for the first time about the incident, as another woman, based in Berlin, told how she called the police after the troubled star refused to leave her home and grew increasingly menacing.

Miller’s increasingly bizarre behavior is causing sleepless nights among executives at Warner Bros, ahead of the release next year of their $200 million blockbuster, The Flash in which they stars as the eponymous superhero.

The 29-year-old was twice arrested in Hawaii for aggressive behavior, and has been accused by a Native American family in South Dakota of brainwashing and abducting their 18-year-old daughter.

Another family, in Massachusetts, took out a restraining order against them, and a Hawaii father raised concerns for his children who are currently living with Miller, along with their mother, at the actor’s Vermont farm, with guns and drugs lying around.

Social media is also currently awash with rumors that Miller and Elvis actor Austin Butler got into a fight in a bar in Tokyo, but TMZ said there was no truth to the story.

The Iceland-based woman told Variety that she met Miller while they were based in Reykjavik, during the pandemic.

In April 2020 Miller, who uses the pronouns they/them, met the woman at the Prikio Kaffihus pub in Reykjavik.

She asked about their feet, visible in flip flops, which had noticeable wounds. Miller told her they were from a fight.

As she was walking away, the woman told Variety she turned and joked: ‘But just so you know, I could take you in a fight.’

Miller replied: ‘You really want to fight?’ and the woman told them to meet her in the smoking area in two minutes.

She said her remarks were made in jest, but a friend of hers poured fuel on the fire by saying to Miller that they were evidently scared of fighting.

‘My friend didn’t have to say that,’ the woman said. ‘It was just a joke, obviously — but Miller took that literally and got super mad and came running outside.

‘I think it’s just fun and games — but then it wasn’t.’

One of the woman’s friends began recording, and the footage went viral.

In the video, Miller grabs the woman by the throat and attempts to throw her to the ground.

‘Woah, bro. Bro,’ the person filming says.

The woman told Variety: ‘All of a sudden, [they’re] on top of me, choking me, still screaming in my face if I want to fight.

‘My friend who’s filming sees [they’re] obviously not joking and it’s actually serious, so he stops filming, and pushes [them] off me as [they’re] still trying to fight me.

‘Two guy friends of mine are actually holding [Miller] back as [they’re] screaming, ‘This is what you wanted! This is what you wanted!’

The woman said Miller spat in her friend’s face ‘multiple times’.

A bartender, Carlos Reynir, said he saw the situation ‘going way out of hand.’

Reynir then rushed to drag Miller off the woman.

Reynir separated them, held Miller back and pushed the group into his pub.

‘[Miller] grabs me by the throat as I’m trying to usher them out the [back] door and tells me they’re not leaving,’ Reynir said.

‘They proceeded to spit in my face several times, so with the final push I closed and locked the door,’ he added.

He then ran to the front door and locked that too – leaving Miller to hammer on the door, demanding to be let back in.

The woman reported the incident to the police, but declined to press charges.

Reynir said that Miller, who he had got to know as Miller propped up his bar, started weeks earlier as a charming individual.

‘I thought they were great to begin with,’ he said.

‘We talked about all kinds of spiritual things and went deep into philosophy.

‘They had this wonderful mask on as this total sweetheart with a completely open mind, who’s ready to help and talk to anyone. But as soon as someone does something they don’t agree with or doesn’t like, it’s their fault, not [Ezra’s].’

Reynir said Miller was certainly eccentric.

‘If they weren’t lighting incense or candles, or even bringing in their own Bluetooth speaker and playing it super loud to overpower our music, there was always something,’ he said.

‘We’d approach them and say, ‘Hey, do you mind? There are other people here.’ I

‘t was a bit of a chuckle. And then they would go, ‘Yeah, sure,’ and they’d stop, only to continue it a little bit later.’

Before the April attack on the woman, Miller had previously got into a fight with another patron, which escalated to Miller holding the man in a chokehold.

Reynir broke up the fight and said Miller later apologized, while the other man shrugged it off as a joke.

‘We just brushed it off as two friends getting drunk and getting in a fight,’ Reynir said. ‘It’s Iceland. That happens twice a weekend.’

Reynir said the incident soured Iceland’s opinion of the actor.

‘I do believe the incident at the bar was what ruined Miller’s reputation thoroughly in Iceland,’ Reynir said. ‘They stopped coming to other bars shortly after.’

Another woman, Nadia, told Variety how she too had called the police after an incident with Miller – this time in Berlin.

The pair had met in Los Angeles, and had consensual sex and remained in touch.

In February 2022, she invited Miller to visit her in Berlin if the actor was in the city for the annual film festival.

‘I received a message, like, ‘Hey, I’ve arrived in Berlin, but I might have to go tomorrow,’ she said.

Miller did not have a hotel, so she invited them to her apartment.

‘When they arrived, they were super nice, super polite, asking me if they could come in,’ she said.

‘When I said my house is shoes off, they had no problem taking their shoes off.’

After Nadia gave Miller tea and vegetable soup, Miller began to roll a cigarette.

‘I was like, ‘Yeah, you need to smoke this outside or on the balcony. There’s no smoking in my house,’ she said.

Miller refused, and kept rolling the cigarette.

‘And this I’m quoting word for word,’ she said. ‘They started with ‘I’m a maker of planets. Tobacco is sacred.’

She said that Miller launched a ‘tirade’, that they could do ‘whatever they want whenever they want, basically.’

Nadia stood and said a guest should respect a host’s rules.

‘They looked at me with this really mean, stern face, and told me, ‘Sit down,’ like they were ordering a dog.’

Nadia said their tone was insulting, and they replied: ‘Yes, I’m talking to you like a dog.’

She told Variety: ‘I said, ‘OK, if you talk to me like this, it’s time for you to go.’

Miller then accused Nadia of being ‘transphobic’ and a ‘Nazi.’

‘I asked them if they remember I told them I’m a descendant of Holocaust survivors, so why would they say that to me?’ she said. ‘They answered, screaming at me, ‘Yes, but how many people of my family died?’ Because many people in their family died.

‘I was like, Oh, OK, this is a game of who’s got the most trauma.’

She said she told them: ‘Leave my house. Go away. Go away. Leave. Can you leave now?’

Nadia called the police.

Miller entered Nadia’s bedroom, and when she told them to leave, ‘they started to shout that they were a rape survivor and I was triggering them.

‘They started to say I had assaulted them. I had beat them up. I had hurt them.’

Miller finally left, when Nadia said she was surprised they hadn’t arrived yet.

Half an hour later, Miller was hammering on the door of her apartment building, screaming that she had stolen their passport and money.

She found that they had left their passport, and so threw it over the balcony to them.

‘I did not feel safe,’ Nadia said.

Miller’s representative has not responded to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

Earlier this month it emerged that Miller is living with a Hawaii-based mother of three and her young children at their Vermont farmhouse, surrounded by guns and large quantities of marijuana.

Miller, whose meteoric career is now hanging in the balance, is accused by the children’s father of putting them in danger.

‘I got a bad feeling in my stomach,’ the father told Rolling Stone.

He said the 25-year-old mother left their island home with Miller in April, and took the children without his consent.

The father told the magazine that he was concerned for the wellbeing of the youngsters, aged between one and five.

‘I do want to go get my kids, they mean the f****** world to me,’ he said.

Two other sources told Rolling Stone they were concerned for the children, and said the property was awash with guns and marijuana plants. One claimed that the infant was seen playing with a bullet, and placing it in its mouth.

Video from April, obtained by Rolling Stone, reportedly showed at least eight assault weapons, rifles, and handguns lying around the living room.

The magazine said some of the firearms were lying next to a pile of stuffed animals.

The actor is known for their appreciation of weapons.

In 2018, Miller offered to show a reporter from The Hollywood Reporter the crossbow from the film We Need to Talk About Kevin, in which the teen actor portrayed a high school killer.

‘You wanna see the real bow and arrow from Kevin, man? ‘Cause I got it right back there. I really do,’ they told the journalist.

‘People usually don’t want to see it when I ask them. They usually say, ‘No, I prefer to not see that bow and arrow.’ And I say, ‘OK. It’s up to you.”

Miller also defended gun rights.

‘People need to protect themselves,’ the actor said, noting they didn’t have any problem with people owning semi-automatic weapons.

The mother, however, insisted that she left Hawaii with Miller to escape an abusive relationship, and said she and the children were thriving in rural Vermont.

She said the New Jersey-born 29-year-old assisted her in fleeing a ‘violent and abusive ex.’

She said they had ‘helped me finally have a safe environment for my three very young children.’

‘Ezra’s home ranch has been a healing haven for us,’ she told Rolling Stone.

‘They may have firearms for self-defense purposes and they are stored in a part of the house that the children never go in.

‘My kids are able to relax more into their healing because of the safety and nurturing Ezra has been providing for them.’

The controversy is just the latest to ensnare the actor, whose roles in Fantastic Beasts, We Need to Talk About Kevin and The Perks of Being a Wallflower have made them a pop culture icon.

Earlier this month a restraining order was taken out by a Massachusetts mother, who told a court the actor rubbed up against her non-binary 12-year-old child and, arriving at their home in a bulletproof vest, threatened her with a gun, after accusing her of cultural appropriation.

Miller offered to buy horses for the child, so the youngster could visit the Vermont farm – an offer which troubled the child’s relatives.

Miller is also accused of abducting and seducing an 18-year-old activist from the Standing Rock Sioux tribe, whose anguished parents have filed legal papers seeking a protection order for their daughter against Miller.

The parents claim in a lawsuit lawsuit that the actor plied their underage daughter, Tokata Iron Eyes, with drugs including LSD.

They alleged that Miller disrupted her Massachusetts private schooling to such an extent that she dropped out from Bard College at Simon’s Rock in December.

When they flew to Miller’s home in Stamford, Vermont, in January to retrieve Tokata, they allegedly found bruises on her body and she no longer had a driver license, car keys or a bank card.

And when the teenager was returned to her parents’ home, she fled again to New York to reunite with Miller and they have since allegedly been traveling together to Vermont, Hawaii and Los Angeles.

While in Hawaii, Miller was arrested after attacking a group of people in a karaoke bar.

A married couple took out a restraining order against them, after Miller burst into their bedroom and threatened to kill them, then left stealing her passport and his  wallet.

Miller’s behavior sparked a crisis meeting with Warner Bros executives, who decided to postpone the release of The Flash until 2023.

In April Miller met the mother of the children, in the town of Hilo, on Big Island.

Since the spring, she has been living with Miller, while they and their friend Whitney Suters work on their ‘Rebel Alliance Cannabis’ company, Rolling Stone reported.

Suters posted multiple photos on social media, showing marijuana cultivation far in excess of the two mature plants or four immature plants that private citizens can legally own in Vermont.

Suters reportedly said there were at least 28 different strains growing for a fall 2021 harvest.

The father told the magazine that, concerned about the guns and drug use, he asked Vermont child services to intervene.

They visited the property on May 16, and in a text to the father – seen by Rolling Stone – said the children ‘looked good’.

The social worker said they had ‘more work to do,’ but it was unclear whether there were follow up visits, the father said.
