Coming off the cliffhanger ending of Volume 1, fans of the Netflix series have been dying to know what happens.

And new images released from Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 on Tuesday give a hint of what to expect.

One of the more interesting photos saw Jane Hopper AKA Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) with Dr. Martin Brenner AKA Papa (Matthew Modine) as she continues to test the limits of her power.

Meanwhile Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Argyle (Eduardo Franco) are seen driving cross country as they led a search party to rescue Eleven.

One very interesting thing was the set of images seem to spoil one of the cliffhangers from the first set episodes released for the season.

In the seventh episode, baddie Vecna AKA Henry Creel (Jamie Campbell Bower) possesses Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer).

However it seems like Nancy survived that encounter as she is pictured planning out her next move with the rest of the gang including Steve (Joe Keery), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Max (Sadie Sink), Robin (Maya Hawke), Erica (Priah Ferguson) and Eddie (Joseph Quinn).

Earlier this month, the trailer for Volume 2 was released.

The first-look footage debuted during Netflix’s Geeked Week panel, which featured appearances from the cast and creators Matt and Ross Duffer.

The trailer features an ominous warning from Vecna – the main villain in Season 4 played by Jamie Campbell Bower – offering a troubling warning to Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).

The trailer begins with one of the openings to the Upside Down closing up in front of Eleven, who is bleeding from her eyes and has a bloodied gown.

‘It is over Eleven,’ Vecna says, as Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine) is seen examining the same wall, with blood splattered on his suit as well.

‘You have freed me,’ Vecna adds, while another shot shows Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) with Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) and Nancy Wheeler (Natalie Dyer).

He added, ‘A lot of horror comes from humans in the story, the darkness in all of us. This season really is no different.’

Matt Duffer added in an interview with TV Line that the season, ‘has a little bit of everything.’
