When it came to planning their lavish nuptials, Dustin Johnson let Paulina Gretzky take the wheel.
During a press conference Wednesday ahead of this week’s PGA Championship in Tusla, Okla., the 37-year-old golfer revealed just how involved he was in the process.
“Paulina did an unbelievable job with the wedding,” Johnson said of his now wife. “I really didn’t have to do much, I helped for about half an hour with the seating chart, that was about it. That was my whole contribution.”
Johnson wed Gretzky, the 33-year-old daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, last month at the luxurious Blackberry Farm resort in Tennessee. The longtime couple celebrated alongside friends and family, including their sons Tatum, 7, and River, 4.
Johnson added Wednesday that perfecting the seating chart for his and Gretzky’s big day was “kind of” challenging, however.
“Just putting people at tables, like, who do you want to sit together,” he said.
Gretzky’s longtime pals, Kristina Melnichenko and Jeremy Cohen, were in attendance for the big day, as well as Bravo stars Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover, who vacationed with the newlyweds in Aspen earlier this year.
Although only a handful of photos from the star-studded affair had appeared on social media in the weeks after the wedding, Gretzky changed that Wednesday by giving fans a peek at her and Johnson’s big day through a new video.
In the clip, Gretzky and Johnson are seen swapping vows, while the father of the bride is heard toasting to guests during the epic wedding weekend.
Gretzky and Johnson had been engaged since 2013.
