After years of going dark due to COVID, Broadway came roaring over the past year, and on Monday (May 9), Adrienne Warren and Joshua Henry unveiled the nominations for the 75th Annual Antoinette Perry “Tony” Awards. Leading the pack was Strange Loop, Michael R. Jackon’s autobiographical musical, with 11. MJ, the Micheal Jackson musical, and Paradise Square, each scored 10 nods. Some famous faces, like Sam Rockwell, Sutton Foster, Billy Crystal, Hugh Jackman, Uzo Aduba, Rachel Dratch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Patti Lupone were also nominated.

The 2022 Tony Awards, hosted by Ariana DeBose, will take place LIVE from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 12, 2022 (8:00 – 11:00 PM, LIVE ET/5:00 – 8:00 PM, LIVE PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming live and on-demand on Paramount+. The celebration will commence at 7:00-8:00 PM, ET/4:00-5:00 PM, PT with exclusive content streaming only on Paramount+.
