Man with gun seen outside Queens home around time of deadly shooting

A man was caught on camera brandishing a gun on a Queens street around the same time a woman was shot dead inside a nearby two-story single-family home Wednesday afternoon.

Time-stamped security footage obtained by The Post showed a gloved man clutching a firearm as he walked to a black SUV parked on 109th Ave in Ozone Park at about 2:23 p.m.

The timing and location captured by the video footage aligned with the NYPD’s account of the murder of Anna Torres, 51, who was shot in the head inside her home at 94-59 109th Ave shortly before 2:30 p.m., officials said.

Police have said they were questioning a person of interest who fled the scene in a black Chevy Traverse, which appeared to be the same vehicle that the man on the footage entered.

A firearm has been recovered, cops said. No arrests or charges have been formally announced in the case.

“We’re working on a search warrant for his clothes, the house,” one police source said. “We want to get the family, the DNA swab.”
