The moment a teenage boy was flung from a moving car after attempting a dangerous stunt has been caught on video.

The incident happened after a wild house party spilled onto Berwick St in Victoria Park, Perth on Friday night – with groups of teens brawling on the median strip and halting traffic.

The teenager was lucky to escape unhurt after he first kicked a passing car and then jumped onto the boot as it drove away.

He almost immediately fell off, stumbling on his feet and then hitting the asphalt face first and skidding – remarkably avoiding serious injury.

Some other partygoers can be seen attending to the boy as he sits on the road while others continue fighting each other in the street.

Worried bystanders called police who attended the disturbance about 10.40pm and tried to move the group on.

The group didn’t go quietly, however, with a confrontation breaking out with the officers that attended the chaotic scene.

Two 15-year-old boys were detained by police for disorderly behaviour – one of which was later collected by a parent.

The second was released with a warning and arrangements for him to be placed under the care of a guardian.

Locals have complained about the increasing frequency of wild parties and teenagers roaming the streets in the area, with a similar incident reported last week.
