Chelsea options for summer striker if club follow through on Jamie Carragher prediction

Harry Kane

Traditionally, Chelsea and Tottenham don’t do business; everyone knows that.

But just a couple of years ago, the thought of Spurs selling Kane to anyone was practically unthinkable.

That’s no longer the case, such has been Tottenham’s decline – so why wouldn’t Chelsea have a shot at prising Kane away from their London rivals?

If the Blues are prepared to stump up the cash, then Kane would certainly boost Chelsea’s hopes of sustaining their recent success both domestically and in Europe.

Sasa Kalajdzic

Kalajdzic was mooted as a potential target for the Blues last summer, and there’s every chance Chelsea could reignite that interest if Lukaku fails to convince Tuchel he can be Chelsea’s main man before the end of the season.

The striker has been plagued by injury issues this year but he fired 17 goals in 36 games for VfB Stuttgart last season.

And with the 24-year-old also in the final 18 months of his contract, he could be available for a knockdown fee in the summer.

Arsenal and Tottenham have also been linked with the Austrian star – but the Blues currently rule the roost in the capital and that could be enough to persuade Kalajdzic to snub a move elsewhere.
