Lorraine Kelly discussed the latest royal news with royal editor Russell Myers on the Monday instalment of her ITV show. The Scottish presenter admitted she didn’t “understand” why Prince Harry will not be attending the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service in London on March 29 while confirming he will visit the Netherlands for this year’s Invictus Games.
Russell explained Harry felt it was “too dangerous” for him to return to the UK.
However, he admitted a lot of people will be asking: “How can he got to the Netherlands and not see his grandmother?”
Lorraine commented: “It’s a shame,” before adding: “I don’t understand.”
