Bezos, who is currently in negotiations with Pete Davidson about the comedian joining him in space, cut a casual figure in a checked jacket and blue jeans, which he paired with a grey gilet, while he shielded his eyes from the sun with dark sunglasses.

His girlfriend looked effortlessly chic in grey tracksuit bottoms and a coordinated cropped jumper as she stepped off the plane with her handbag slung across her shoulders.

The couple’s jampacked week comes after they recently visited Colombia, where they were due to fly back from on Friday, according to reports.

In the South American country, they joined president Ivan Duque Marquez and his wife Maria to visit Chiribiquete National Park, the largest tropical rainforest national park in the world.

The trip saw them pledge to continue the Bezos Earth Fund’s commitment to protecting 30 per cent of the planet’s land and sea by 2030, according to Sanchez’s Instagram.

Elsewhere, the Amazon founder is said to be in negotiations with Pete Davidson for the Saturday Night Live Star to accompany him into space.

Davidson, 28, is nearing an agreement to board a Blue Origin flight with Bezos to spend a little over 10 minutes at 100km above the Earth’s surface, according to Page Six.

‘Pete is excited,’ a source close to the comedian told the publication last week, though they noted that it’s not quite a done deal.

‘They haven’t signed a contract yet, but it looks like it’s going to happen. The details are being finalized,’ they continued.

Davidson previously had a chance to get close to the billionaire in late January, when he and his girlfriend Kim Kardashian joined the space tourism leader at his $175million mansion in Los Angeles.

The source added that the comic ‘got on really well’ with Bezos during their dinner party.

As the details haven’t been finalized, it’s unknown when exactly he might fly into space, but the source said Blue Origin is eyeing a launch sometime this year.

Bezos’ first flew into space back in July 2021 on Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket.

Joining him on that initial flight were the pioneering female aviator Wally Funk who became the oldest person to fly into space at age 82.

The billionaire also brought along his brother Mark, as well as the 18-year-old Dutch student Oliver Daemen, who was selected at the last minute after another guest had a scheduling conflict that required them to take a later space flight.

Bezos, who is estimated to be worth $175.5 billion as of February 1, is the third richest man in the world after Tesla owner Elon Musk, who knocked him off the top spot with a net worth of $242.6 billion and Bernard Arnault, who oversees an empire of 70 brands including Louis Vuitton and Sephora, according to Forbes.

The Amazon founder first became a billionaire in 1998, the year after Amazon went public as an online bookseller and has since increased his fortune by 12,425 per cent — now raking in more than $140,000 per minute.

Nearly 90 per cent of his wealth is tied up in his 10 per cent stake in Amazon — with each share currently worth $3,540.70 — with the rest of his money invested into other avenues such as Blue Origin and property.

He has made several highly-publicized donations since stepping down as CEO of Amazon last July, including to the Obama Foundation and Baby2Baby.

Just prior to Thanksgiving, he donated $100 million to the Obama Foundation, the largest ever to the charity. Last November, he pledged almost $100 million to groups working to end homelessness.

Bezos’ real estate portfolio recently grew to astronomical new heights, burgeoning by more than $100million thanks to a pair of high-profile property purchases in Hawaii and Manhattan.
