Dean McDermott posts tribute to Tori Spelling amid split rumors

Despite never-ending gossip that their marriage is kaput, Dean McDermott called wife Tori Spelling “strong” and “fierce” in a tribute to her and their daughters on International Women’s Day.

“Happy International Women’s Day to these incredibly smart, creative, strong, fierce and funny Women. I’m so blessed to have you in my life. I love you So Much!!” he captioned photos of daughters Stella, 13, and Hattie, 10, and two photos of Spelling on Tuesday.

He ended his Instagram post calling himself a “lucky guy.”

The couple — who wed in 2006 — also share three sons: Liam, 14, Finn, 9, and Beau, 5.

Rumors swirled in 2021 that the couple’s relationship was on the rocks.

In March, Spelling, 48, was spotted without her ring on and soon after admitted that the couple was sleeping in separate beds.

Then, in September, McDermott, 55, said it was “weird” that people were fascinated with his private life responding to speculation that he won’t address it anymore.

“It’s just like, ‘OK, if that’s what you want to think, then think it,’” he said.

A month later, Spelling was photographed outside a lawyer’s office holding up a notepad with the words “custody,” “support” and “assets” written on the page.

Meanwhile, McDermott was also seen several times over the months without his wedding ring, which he claimed he lost.

McDermott was also missing from the family holiday card and his stocking was not hung by the fire with care.

In December, Spelling was spotted driving McDermott to get a COVID-19 test. She later revealed that their entire family had contracted the virus over the holidays.

“Nothing is worse than wanting to care for your little ones but feeling so sick you can barely function yourself,” she said on social media in January. “I feel useless as a parent. Devastated. A mom is supposed to take care of their kiddos when sick. That’s how it works. But, we are all getting thru this together.”
