‘Broken’ Prince Andrew gets to keep one of his military titles

There’s nothing like a little “dress up” to help ease historic public humiliation.

Prince Andrew is reportedly being allowed to cling to one of his military titles because he’s been so distraught over the fallout from the sex abuse allegations against him — which resulted in a massive legal settlement and his being booted from the royal family, a source told the Mirror.

“He is down, he is broken. If he wants to dress up once in a while in a naval uniform, then let him,” one source told the outlet. “His reputation is in tatters, his public life is over. He is a walking embarrassment.“

Andrew vehemently denied the accusations from Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who claimed she was forced by pedophile Jeffrey Epstein to have “disgusting” sex with the royal three times, starting in 2001 when she was just 17.

The royal recently reached a $12 million settlement in the case.

“He served in the Royal Navy in the Falklands War and this was bestowed upon him by the Queen,” the source told the Mirror of the vice admiral rank. “It’s effectively the same as an honorary degree.”
