'Biden a danger to Brexit Britain!' US president slammed as 'useless' over Russia

Around 100,000 Russian troops have massed the their neighbouring country, according to Western reports. The recent deployment of tactical bombers to airfields close to Ukraine also led some to suggest an invasion could be imminent. Despite all this, US officials managed to find time to raise concerns over a post-Brexit agreement in a call with Whitehall on Saturday.

Express.co.uk readers have hit back against the President and his team for being a “danger” to those they interact with.

US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said the White House discussed “UK-EU negotiations over the implementation of the Northern Ireland Protocol and preserving the gains of the Belfast/Good Friday agreement” with Foreign Secretary Liz Truss over the weekend.

With Mr Biden in the White House, the US has repeatedly threatened to hamper trade relations if Britain decided to trigger Article 16 of the Protocol.

But many readers said the agreement was none of America’s business.

Russia said in recent diplomatic talks it had “no plans” to invade Ukraine.

In a possible sign an invasion may not, in fact, be imminent, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday diplomatic talks with international leaders should continue.
