BBC’s Deborah James took to Instagram last night to condemn the trolls who criticised her for wearing mini skirts. The 40-year-old shared a picture flashing her toned legs in a mini skirt and over the knee boots.
Deborah could be seen sitting by a vanity table as she posed with her legs crossed in a purple and blue mini dress.
In the lengthy caption, Deborah addressed how her “kind trolls” felt the need to “put others down” in view of her 392,000 followers.
She wrote: “To one of the many ‘kind trolls’ that keeps sending me DM’s telling me to grow up and stop dancing and wearing mini skirts now I’m 40 – this valentines post Is especially for you! (sic)
“I’ve worked out the only way forward is to kill it with kindness and love back.
“I wish I could help people like you are xxx I wish I could do more xx.”
TV and radio presenter Gaby Roslin penned: “Carry on dancing and wear those mini skirts with pride.
“Don’t stop doing what you do or being you and enjoy every single beautiful second. #keepdancing #bekind”
Deborah later shared a follow-up post to her Story to address everyone who had been “shocked” by her revelation, adding that she would share some of her critics’ messages soon.
