Get the new Galaxy S22 Ultra half price, and that's not all

Samsung’s new Galaxy S22 Ultra is now available to pre-order and there are some hugely tempting deals to choose from, including the chance to pop this premium device in your pocket for half the usual price. Yes, you did read that correctly. Three Mobile has announced a deal that’s offering this brand new phone for just £36 a month for the first six months of the contract. And that’s not all, this ultimate plan arrives with an unlimited mobile data allowance, plus all-you-can-eat calls and texts.

If your area has access to the latest 5G data speeds you’ll be pleased to know that the S22 Ultra is compatible with this technology and that Three Mobile’s SIM deal is fully compatible with 5G speeds, allowing you to whizz the web to the device at speeds in excess of 300Mbps when away from fixed-line broadband.

To sweeten the deal even further there’s also free Disney+ for an entire year (worth £79) so you can watch endless Marvel movies or Pixar classics and you even get a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro (£219) thrown in as well.

Of course, it’s not just Three that’s offering some good deals on this new phone with O2 also giving away some great freebies. The UK network has launched a range of plans that come with data and calls at no cost for the first three months.

That means you’ll pay just £30.99 per month at the start of the contract with things then rising to £58.99 per month – for 50GB of data – or £65.99 per month for unlimited 5G data. Like Three Mobile, O2 is also dishing out free Disney+ for an entire year and there are those free Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds.

One final deal that’s worth checking out comes via Vodafone. The firm is offering the S22 Ultra at a very low monthly price with things starting from just £33 per month for the entire term of the contract.

You might be asking how things can be so cheap? Firstly, that price is based on a three-year contract but it also requires you to hand over an eligible smartphone via Vodafone’s trade-in programme. If you haven’t got an old phone then things rise to £51 per month.

If these deals have got you thinking about an upgrade then there are plenty of treats tucked inside the Ultra, including the return of the S Pen stylus. This digital pencil has now been upgraded to make it feel even more like you are writing with a real pen on physical paper.

There’s also a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen to scribble your notes on and the Ultra gets an improved quad-rear camera with a 108-megapixel main sensor. Samsung is boasting that this new snapper will offer improved night photos and 100X digital zoom.

Other features include a huge battery, fast charging and an ultra sonic fingerprint scanner for quick access to the screen.

Anyone opting to buy the S22 Ultra directly from Samsung will face an upfront bill of over £1,169 for the 128GB model. However, things can rise to a whopping £1,495 if you opt for the ultimate 1TB version.

If you fancy taking delivery of the S22 Ultra then it comes in a number of colour options including Phantom Black, Phantom White, Burgundy and Green.
