Touching on how the character of Kathy is different to the roles she has played before, Sheridan said: “Well, I mean, I’ve never done anything of this scenario.
“You know, I’ve never seen anything about it, and I’ve never played a character like this in this situation.
“She’s a mother, she is feisty, it is a great role to play and, like I say from the (first) minute, the first 10 minutes, from them onwards (it’s) almost like a roller coaster.”
Sheridan has recently starred in some hard-hitting series, including Four Lives (ITV), where she played Sarah Sak and The Teacher (Channel 5), where she played Jenna.
